     Welcome to my Teacher Web page! I moved here last year from Hurricane, WV, to join the WECHS staff. I'm happy to be back in Wilmington, close to the beaches and surrounded by the natural beauty of the area and its friendly people.

     I graduated from the University of Rio Grande College (in Ohio) in 2001 with a bachelor of science degree in secondary education, majoring in history and English. My teaching experience includes both high school and middle school language arts classes. This year I will continue teaching English III (American Literature) and U.S. History.

     I'm the mother of five and grandmother of five. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the beach and the gym, reading and visiting with family, seeing local attractions and riding my bike.

     I look forward to being a part of the development of WECHS and watching our students' success as they move into college and beyond.
