Welcome to Wilmington Early College High School

     As the Program Director one of my responsibilites is to make sure that our stakeholders are aware of upcoming state, local and New Schools Project required testing.

    Because our school's calendar mirrors that of Cape Fear Community College, our testing schedule will usuallly be very different from that of New Hanover County Schools.

   One of the requirements of New Schools Project is for our students to particpate in MAP Testing each semester. Please check the "Important Testing Information" below for MAP Test and other testing information (such as state End of Course or EOCs). For EOCs, we need for students to return all WECHS calculators on December 11, 2009 for the fall and on May 14, 2010 for the spring so we can test as planned.

    We need parents to volunteer to proctor for EOCs each semester; for more information, please email or call me. Thanks.

 Important Testing Information
Fall WECHS Calculators Due

All WECHS calculators are due on December 11, 2009; students should turn in the WECHS calculator to the math teacher that distributed the calculator. All calculators are needed for EOC testing. Thanks.

Spring MAP Testing
