It is so exciting to be in our second semester!! In Language Arts we are beginning a unit on poetry. We will be analyzing four types; acrostic, haiku, limerick, and cinquain. I am looking forward to sharing in each student's enthusiasm as they discuss various authors' poetry and then create their own. 

The social studies classes are discovering the complexity of different areas of government and the role North Carolina played and is still playing in shaping our nation.
