Coaching Philosophy

At Roland-Grise our goal is to instill a positive work ethic, dedication, commitment and team loyalty based on hard work, the desire to prepare and the willingness to sacrifice for the team. By this, we hope that throughout their time of competition at Roland-Grise, our athletes will have a positive experience and attain a solid foundation for future success in whatever field they choose.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

All 7th and 8th grade students are welcome to tryout. 

In order to tryout, each student must:

· Have a current pre-participation screening (click here for FORM)

· Complete the “Concussion information sheet and consent form” for athlete and parent

CONCUSSION INFORMATION

· Maintain a “C” average

· Not turn 15 on or before Aug 31

Parent / Coach Communication

 Our coaches are here to help these young athletes reach their full potential.  Please feel free to communicate with coaches at appropriate times about appropriate topics.  If you are not satisfied after talking with the coach, please follow New Hanover County Policy and contact the Athletic Director before any administrator.
