Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year! We missed you over the summer and look forward to seeing you soon. Our Open house is Thursday, August 23, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. School begins Monday August 27th at 8:00 sharp!

We are very excited about our rising kindergarten class. The PTA will host playdates for rising kindergarten students on Monday August 6th from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.; Thursday August 9th from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.; and Saturday August 18th from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Parents are required to stay with their child, and restrooms will not be available. Kindergarten students will have staggered entry Monday, August 27th, Tuesday, August 28th, and Wednesday, August 29th.  Your teacher will tell you which day to come. All kindergarten students will attend school Thursday, August 30th.

Our PTA is very supportive of our students and our school. I strongly encourage you to join our PTA.

The 2012-2013 New Hanover County Schools student calendar has been approved by the Board of Education. You can find a copy of our traditional calendar for the 2012-2013 school year at www.nhcs.net. From that site select "parents," then "calendar.

 Your child is important to us and our dedicated staff  work hard to meet your child’s specific needs. Thank you for your encouragement, support, and participation in your child’s education.
