PARSLEY > Ms. Warnes

Welcome to our class website.  Thank you for visiting.

Please check the News tab on the left each week.

The deadline for submitting Reflections Contest entries is November 16.

Parsley's Student Council is sponsoring the Friends Feeding Friends Food Drive from November 9 until November 23.  Each year Parsley students have donated over 2,000 pounds of food for this drive.  Bags for this drive have been donated by Lowes Foods Store on Pine Grove Drive.  All donated food is delivered to the Second Harvest Food Bank to be used for local families.

If you are picking your child up from the fence area, please designate him/her as a "walker".  Car riders are taken to the car pick up area in the front of the school building.

Because student safety is a priority, it is important that we follow the school safety procedures.  All visitors during the day will need to stop by the office and sign in - this applies whether we are volunteering in the classroom, or simply dropping off something.  If  your child is a walker at the end of the day, please wait for us at the fence.

Family support and interest are essential to student success.   How to contact me:

Ø       Email me directly.  My email address is dwarnes@nhcs.net.  This is a great way to contact me.

Ø       Check for information on our class website, www.nhcs.net/parsley.  You can also email me through this website.

Ø       Send a note in your child’s take home folder.  Writing directly on the homework calendar is best.

Ø       Call me before 7:30 am or after school, 790-2355.  (Note that this number does not ring through to the classroom during instructional hours.  Transportation changes need to be called in to the office.)

Your child’s Parsley folder is a crucial means of communication.  Students should bring the folder home and return it to school everyday.   The folder will always have a peach color weekly calendar.  This calendar contains homework, conduct updates, important dates, and periodic teacher notes.  Please check your child’s folder each day.   After checking the folder, please initial the calendar so I know you have seen it.
