Welcome! I am the 6th grade Intensive Academic Support Teacher at Holly Shelter Middle School. I graduated from East Carolina University with a BS degree in Teaching Learning Disabled Students to ages K -12. I also received a concentration in mathematics while at ECU. I have been teaching in the classroom for 18 years, mostly in Wilmington, North Carolina. However, for 3 years, I was a school teacher in Columbia, South Carolina. As your child's teacher, I am excited about the opportunities that I have planned for your child to grow as a confident student in all of the core subjects this 2012-2013 school year. I will be teaching your child Language Arts and Math but will also assist your child in Social Studies and Science.
