We are looking forward to many musical activities this school year.

Fifth graders will be using the Finale music software program to create their own compositions.

Fourth graders will begin basic instrument study by using the recorders (wind instruments with fingerings similar to woodwind band instruments).

Throughout the school year I will be creating arrangements and accompaniments of modern music for students using the Sibelius music notation software.  The serious student of music can view this software at:  sibelius.com .       I will also be using the DAK Wave Editor program to directly modify music files on our accompaniment CD's when necessary for student use.
