About the Nurse:

Welcome to Nurse Nicole's web page. I have been a school nurse for 5 years and prior to that I was a pediatric nurse and pediatric oncology nurse in Greenville, NC at Pitt Memorial Children's Hospital. I have currently been at Anderson Elementary School for 3 years and continue to enjoy every minute here with students, staff, and parents!

Please use the site menu on the left side of the page to explore my website and it's contents. I hope you enjoy! Please contact me by email or phone anytime you have a question or concern.

Below you will find two power point presentations that you may view that describe a little about me and what I do at Anderson. Enjoy!

Remember: A healthy school is a successful school!

Goals of the School Health Services Program

"School Nursing is a specialized practice of professional nursing that
advances the well being, academic success, and life-long achievement of
students. To that end, school nurses facilitate positive student responses
to normal development; promote health and safety; intervene with actual and
potential health problems; provide case management services; and actively
collaborate with others to build student and family capacity for adaptation,
            self-management, self-advocacy, and learning."
National Association of School Nurses, 1999
