Wrightsboro > Mrs. Boni Hall- Principal

  From the Principal's Desk

Parents and Students,

Your principal, Mrs. Boni Hall, was born and raised in Florida, the Sunshine State!  Just as you would imagine, I spent a lot of time at the beach and visiting the theme parks.  I had the fun experience of riding a bicycle meant for two in the Walt Disney parade and working as a pearl diver at Sea World.  I am married to an underwater archaeologist who has many cool stories to tell!  My sons, ages 11 and 17, call him a pirate and think it’s cool that he looks for shipwrecks.

My parents grew up in North Carolina, so my whole life I visited family members here during the summer.  When I was old enough to go to college, I chose to move to North Carolina to experience the change of seasons!  I first graduated from Catawba College, which is in the western part of our state, with a degree in Elementary Education.  I was a classroom teacher for 15 years and loved every minute of it.  In particular, I loved teaching children how to express themselves through writing while looking for ways to integrate art, music, and dance into my lessons!

During my teaching career, I decided I wanted to learn more about working with other professionals in education to study the most effective ways students learn.  I earned a Masters of Education degree from East Carolina University with majors in Curriculum and School Administration.  I worked as the administrator of Winter Park Baptist Preschool and Kindergarten for five years before coming to Wrightsboro as the assistant principal in 2005.

I am now in my second year as the principal of Wrightsboro, home of the Cool Cats!  I work with an amazing group of professionals who take great pride in their work with our students.  Each and every member of our staff strives to understand our students’ needs and to build positive relationships with them and their families.

I look forward to another great year at Wrightsboro and for opportunities to get to know each of our students and the important people in their lives!

Mrs. Hall
