Here are some activities you can do through the week to practice your Spelling Words--each one that you turn in completed earns you another star on your Cool Cat Prizebox Sheet! :o)
1. Write each word 5 times.
2. Make a word pyramid with the letters in each word.
For example, -> dog --- d
do
dog
3. Type your words 3 times each on the computer.
4. Take a practice test--have someone call out the words for you. If you miss any words, write them 2 times each.
5. Write your words with crayons or markers--use blue for the consonants, red for the vowels.
6. Write a story using all of your spelling words! Underline each of your spelling words.
7. Write your spelling words in ABC order.
8. Draw an illustration for 3 of the words.
9. Write your spelling word. Now, write a rhyming word.
