Murray > Katherine Stone > SCIENCE DICTIONARY

We have setup the Science Dictionary.

This dictionary follows the format of an Interactive Notebook.  Each day at the begining of class students will be given two to three terms.  During the 5 minute "warm up" students are to look up the word in the glossary of the Science Textbook and copy the definition.  This is done on the RIGHT side of the Notebook.  Students are then to complete information on the LEFT side of the notebook.  (The definition in "own words" and an illustration) Students should be able to complete this task at the begining of class.  However, if a student is absent or not focused the entries are to be completed as homework.  If words cannot be found in the glossary of the Online Textbook, check out the Links Page.  I have some online dictionaries "linked"  :)
