DMV Eye Test September 15th

CLASSES WILL BE CLOSED WHEN FILLED!

One 7am with 35 students

Two 3:35 - 5:45 with 35 students each

 

DRIVERS ED INFO

For all students enrolled in the Driver Education classes:

  • At least one parent must attend a meeting in the cafeteria. The Laney High School Director of Drivers Education will meet to discuss the New Hanover County Driver Education Program.
  • The Department of Motor Vehicles will send a representative to administer the eye test portion of the "Temporary Permit".
  • Each student must have this permit completely filled out and signed by a parent and returned on the date of the eye test. TBA
  • EACH STUDENT WILL COMPLETE SIX HOURS OF BEHIND THE WHEEL INSTRUCTION COMBINED WITH  THIRTY HOURS OF CLASS INSTRUCTION

    ***BEHIND THE WHEEL INSTRUCTION WILL BE SCHEDULED BY YOUR IN CAR INSTRUCTOR AND WILL TAKE PLACE DURING THE SESSION

    PARENTS SHOULD BRING THE FOLLOWING TO PARENTAL MEETING

  • Birth Certificate
  • Social Security Card
  • Glasses or Contacts
  • Copy of your last semester's report card

**Also inform your driving instructor of any special needs (504’s etc.) when they call.
