About The Teacher

Hi! I am Kim Williams. This is my ninth year at Laney.  I also taught in Brunswick County for
several years.  I am very excited to have your student in my class this
year.  I have a wonderful husband and two incredibly smart children.
Brandon is 11 and in the 6th grade, and Allison is 6 1/2 years old and in 1st grade.
Hi! I am Emily Perez. I am a senior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington majoring in English with a teacher licensure in Secondary Education. I will be student teaching this semester and could not be more excited or grateful to be working alongside Mrs. Williams and for this opportunity to teach at Laney High School. A native of Virginia Beach, I enjoy reading a good book with my toes in the sand! Also an avid dancer, I am currently a member of the UNCW Dance Company here in Wilmington. I am so excited to meet my students and start the new semester!
