Kathy Kearney's Fifth Grade   kathy.kearney@nhcs.net

Welcome to 5th grade.  I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I received my

undergraduate degree from the State University at Oswego and a Masters Degree of Education at UNC-W.

I love teaching and working with children.

I live in Hampstead and have two children, Kevin is a student and ECU and Jack attends UNC-W.  I have

a wonderful husband and my favorite baby girl, Riley, makes up the rest of my family.  Riley is our dog.

I enjoy spending time with my family, playing tennis, going to the beach an reading a good book.

Mission for the class:

It is my goal to provide a comfortable and fun learning environment where all students reach their

potential and are successful!  I am very excited about this year, and I have high expectations for all of us.

I hope to provide a safe learning atmosphere so that we can acheive our highest potential.  I appreciate

students who take resposibility for their learning, respect each other, encourage each other, and who enjoy

asking question.

With much enthusiasm, I look forward to working with each of you.
