Heather L. Byers  Principal 2010-2011

 

 

My name is Heather Byers and I have been the principal at Eaton since 2004.  I was previously the assistant principal for 6 years as well as opened the school in 1997.  I graduated from UNCW in 1991 with a degree in Physical Education and Health and went back to UNCW to obtain a degree in School Administration.  I taught Physical Education and Health at Pender High School and coached softball and volleyball. I have a wonderful supportive husband of 19 years and 2 beautiful children, a son 8 and daughter 5. Both my son and daughter attend Eaton.  I truly love my job and consider myself very blessed to work with such a wonderful staff and supportive parents. I believe all children can learn at their own pace when given the opportunity.  I am committed to providing a loving, safe and nurturing environment for all of our students and families.
