The only homework this week will be for students to read nightly for 30 minutes.

Student will be taking a practice EOG on Tuesday and Wednesday during our math block.  This is a test that the state used last year and released for practice.  Students will be using a calculator for one section and without a calculator for the second section.

Thursday is our field trip to UNCW for the Hansel and Gretel opera performance.  We leave at 9am and will return before lunch.

Congrats to Ryan, Rachel, and Aubrey for earning their License to Multiply!

CJ is also a Doctor of Division after successfully completing his division fact quizzes through 12.

Our third nine weeks class store/auction is approaching.  I am looking for items for our class store.  If you have not sent in any items for the class store this year, please consider doing so.  The kids enjoy candy, sports cards, markers, small trinkets from the dollar store, magic tricks, dice, stickers, puzzle or riddle books, and gel pens.

Tuesday- Tortilla Cheese Roll-up or Nachos Grande

Wednesday- Pepperoni Pizza or Beef-a-Roni

Thursday- Popcorn Chicken, Potato Smiles, and Mixed Fruit

A reminder-- Parents who choose to eat lunch with their child can sit at the long lunch table or the square table with chairs near the outside exit door.  Please reserve the square table for you and your child only.  The shorter bench tables between the two inner doors are for our students with special needs.

Students  tennis shoes for recess and PE.  Our PE day is on Thursday.
