What We're Doing In AIG

Green Nice Job

The first nine weeks in Math, students in fourth and fifth grades will work on problem-solving strategies.  We will begin with Logical Reasoning, as most problems in math and in real life require this skill.  Students will be expected to work diligently, check over their own work for mistakes, and show their work always.

The first nine weeks in Reading, students will begin learning meanings of prefixes.  We will study vocabulary throughout the year and learning the meanings of prefixes, root words, and suffixes will aid students in figuring out the meaning of unknown words in all subject materials as they read.  Students will be expected to pace themselves through assignments so they finish work on time.  Work should also be accurate, creative, and neat.
